On the way to Yamdrok Lake, we had to cross a mountain. Halfway up, a car coming from behind overtook us and scraped the front of our car. When they got out, there was not a single apology — they just handed over some money and left. We kept driving forward, and the moment we saw the lake and the snow mountains, all the unpleasantness from before vanished completely. Yamdrok Lake was a pure gem blue — deep, bright blue that fell clean into my eyes, together with the white snow peaks standing in the distance. For a moment I suddenly wanted to cry, just for the beauty in front of me. This is a moment worth remembering. Beside me sat the person I love most. She was as excited as a little child, taking photos with her phone, happy and amazed by the scenery. Every time I see her, every time I think of this moment — the world only had us driving on the road, only us together — I feel so happy. And deep in my heart, I truly love her. She never believes how much I love her, and I don't know how to put it into words. Maybe it's like this: her being here is the brightest, most vivid color of my life. In that moment I asked myself: can you feel the power of being alive? My answer was yes. In this moment, I want to live. I bless that me and the person I love will love each other for a very long time. I bless my family — my parents and my brother — from this moment onward, may they be healthy, free of illness and pain, happy, and abundantly provided for. ❤️ I bless me and the person I love, may we live a rich and joyful life. ❤️
